A Female Care Assistant is required 22 hours per week, to help support a young lady with health conditions including learning difficulties and epilepsy.
It would be desirable to have experience of first aid, moving and handling and administration of medication, however full training will be given. It is preferable (but not essential) that the successful applicant will have at least two years’ experience with epilepsy and learning difficulties. The hours are:
Monday 3pm- 8pm
Tuesday 9am-3pm
Thurs 9am-3pm
Friday 3pm-8pm
You will occasionally be asked to help cover extra monitoring to seizures which can be unpredictable and severe and require 2:1 care staff when they occur.
The rate of pay is £13 per hour (£19.50 for Bank Holiday working)
Please note that you will require your own transport to get to and from working shifts.
