Job description
A Personal Assistant is required to support a 13-year-old boy with activities, days out and the occasional evening sitting service. He is an active young man who enjoys being outdoors; going on walks, feeding the ducks, visiting the Sea Life Centre, bus rides, shopping and cafes. He is non-verbal with learning disabilities and epilepsy. He is also doubly incontinent and requires personal care.
The applicant MUST have at least 12 months’ experience with special needs children, working on a 1:1 basis.
Hours will be approximately 5 per week, which are required flexibly on Saturdays & Sundays and rising to more during school holidays. The current hourly rate is £11.44 per hour.
A DBS is essential for this post, as is a full clean driving license.
