A female personal care assistant for a young adult with functional neurological disorder, chronic abdominal pain and anxiety. She also has non-epileptic seizures, so the assistant must be comfortable in dealing with these.
The job duties will involve assisting with getting out and socialising, helping to attend appointments, pushing a wheelchair. She might require help accessing the disabled toilet, however there is no personal care involved. Being someone who can connect with the client is more important than extensive experience with the conditions.
A car driver is essential as the lady lives in a Rural area near Whitby.
The position is paid at £12.10. Mileage at 45p/mile.
There are 10 hours per week available, days to be arranged at interview level.
