A Support Worker is required for 16 hours per week which can be flexible, to support two brothers with Alstrom Syndrome which has caused blindness and diabetes.
The hours are: 12 hours per week with one brother and 4 hours per week with the other brother, who lives in the Burniston area of Scarborough
The rate of pay is £13.00 per hour plus 45p per mile
The role includes helping the young men live a healthy lifestyle including preparing meals, checking blood sugars and help him exercise regularly. They both live in the town and surrounding area, they both have a great sense of humour and enjoy a good laugh and social life. Activities include going to the gym, walking or going out to social events, sports groups and “talking football”.
A DBS, references, a clean Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this position.
