A Personal Support Assistant/Companion to provide support for a young lady in her own home.
The lady has Autism, ADHD & has a Heart Condition, therefore she requires support in the home and to go to hospital appointments in York. No personal care is required.
There are 10 hours per week and these can be flexible to be mutually agreed, (Thursday & Sunday’s are not required)
The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour with paid annual leave
Responsibilities
- Help around the home ie: lifting the vacuum upstairs , taking the bins out, assisting with food delivery etc
- Meal preparation/prompting (this could be breakfast or lunch times!)
- Going out with her and her little boy, where assistance may be required.
- Taking or accompanying her to appointments
The ideal candidate must be friendly, experienced with Autism, ADHD and preferably CPR trained (or willingness to have training), and a driver with own vehicle.
A DBS will be required (paid by local authority)
