A Waking Night Care Assistant and Bank/Relief are required for 24 hours per week (2 x 12 hour waking night shifts 8 pm-8 am) with extra daytime shifts available and to cover holidays and sickness of other care staff. These hours are to assist a young gentleman who has severe autism, epilepsy & learning disabilities, the gentleman lives in the family home.
The hours are : Every Tuesday with alternate Monday & Saturdays
ie: Week 1 & 3: Tuesday & Monday, Week 2 & 4: Tuesday & Saturdays
The waking nights are to monitor him as he has nocturnal seizures (there will be a second sleeping PA/carer on the same shift if needed) . All aspects of personal care is and medication administration is required.
Experience with Autism and Epilepsy would be ideal, however training can be given.
The rate of pay is £14.70 per hour, (due to be reviewed) with 5.6 weeks annual holiday (pro-rata)
