A Personal Support Assistant is required for 24 hours a week to support a 22 year old Autistic young man with his independence. These hours can be flexible to suit both the young man and the PA, usually Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend day.
Duties to include:
Prompting, body doubling and support to do domestic duties and daily living activities, like meal preparation, cleaning in the house and maintaining garden and possibly some social days out. Promoting independence and well-being and providing emotional support not reliance.
The young man is autistic with capacity but he struggles to start and complete tasks and wants to develop better routines. He enjoys motorbikes, engineering, fabrication and good music/gigs
Rate of pay is £15.00 per hour
Looking for someone who has a good sense of humour and positive attitude to life. It is essential that you are a driver and have access to a car due to rural location
