A Support Worker is required to support an autistic gentleman in his own home for 32 hours per week which will include daytime and night sleepover hours. This position is to cover maternity leave for one of the support team members and to cover holidays and sickness.
It is essential that the support worker is professional, has an understanding of autism and challenging behaviour, and has a full clean UK driving licence with access to a car.
Duties will be to support the gentleman in his home and out in the community.
The hours to cover are:
Tuesday: 3.30 pm till 10 pm + sleepover (till 7am)
Thursday: 5 pm till 10 pm + sleepover (till 7am)
Friday: 7 am till 9.30 am
The rate of pay is £11.00 daytime hour and £78.48 per 9 hour sleepover. There is a mileage allowance with this position.
