A Support Assistant/Companion is required for a 62 year-old gentleman who has early on-set Dementia, to support him with his hobbies and activities for 8 fairly flexible hours per week.
The hours can be split into 2 x 4 hours, depending on activity.
The gentleman is an ex-rugby league player and has an active life, he enjoys walking his dog, bike rides, going to his gym, spending time in his ‘man shed’ and DIY skills. We are looking for someone with similar interests, to help him stay active, be kind, have a sense of humour and have access to a car.
The rate of pay is £11.00 per hour (or on a self employed basis is £16.38).
DBS and references will be required for this position.
