We are looking for a Personal Support Assistant for 6 flexible hours per week, to support a young man with high functioning Autism with life skills.
The young man is a heavy metal guitarist who has a love of medieval history and is looking for someone to help him achieve his goals and provide him with support with scheduling appointments, keeping in contact with friends, negotiating unfamiliar or stressful social situations and exploring some alternative options for work.
The rate of pay is £12.00 per hour
The hours/days are flexible and to mutually agreed.
The successful applicant must be a good listener, have patience, organisation skills and have a good understanding of high functioning autism. A DBS will also be required.
