We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic part-time personal support assistant to support two young men with Alström syndrome. And both blind and hearing impaired.
They are active and sociable people who enjoys keeping busy.They regularly plays indoor and outdoor bowls, including travelling to away tournaments, and are keen football fans . They enjoy attending local matches and travelling to support their football teams
lifestyle, including going for regular walks and taking part in activities they enjoy . They also enjoys playing cards, socialising and having the occasional pint.
Personal care is not required. This is primarily a role providing companionship, encouragement and practical support to help him enjoy an active and independent lifestyle.
The hours are part-time and flexible, which would suit someone looking for a role that can fit around other commitments. There may also be opportunities to accompany them on trips to bowls tournaments and football matches.
We are looking for someone who is patient, caring, reliable and sociable, with a good sense of humour and a genuine interest in helping them get the most out of life.
