A Female Personal Care Assistant required for approximately 20 hours per week to help a 92 year old lady who has had a stroke and is in the early stage of Alzheimer’s.
Duties will include support of day to day activities, companionship and some personal care, and allowing her husband some independence and respite. Personal care experience essential
Ideal candidate would have an interest in the visual arts as the lady is a former children’s book illustrator.
Approximately 20 hours over 4 days possibly increasing in the future. Exact schedule to be determined at interview.
£14.00 per hour and £3.00 per visit fuel allowance. Weekend rate to be negotiated when applicable.
It is advisable that the ideal candidate is a driver due to the rural location and limited public transport available.
