A Care Support Assistant including Relief work is required to cover every Monday on a permanent shift, 10 am till 3 pm, this job will also include picking up extra shifts to cover holidays and sickness of other care staff.
These hours are to assist a young gentleman who has severe autism/learning disabilities, who requires personal care and constant supervision, on a 2:1 basis, to take him out to various activities ie: train spotting, museums, garden centres, Dalby Forest etc.
The ideal applicant must have plenty of energy to enjoy the activities, be patient and ensure consistency of his routine. The gentleman also suffers from nocturnal seizures and will remain at home on these occasions. Experience with Autism would be an advantage for this position.
Any shift would include driving him out in his own vehicle, therefore it would be preferable but not essential to have a driving licence, although it is required to have a clean licence for insurance purposes.
The rate of pay is £12.00 per hour
A DBS is also required.
