A Female Care Assistant is required for 6 hours per week on Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday mornings to care for a lovely lady with Frontotemporal Dementia.
The hours would be 9 am till 11 with extra hours to cover holidays and sickness of the other staff member.
The lady lives in Scalby Village so would be advisable for the applicant to live local or have access to a vehicle, there is a bus service but on Sundays is less frequent.
Duties include: Getting the lady out of bed, personal care, showering, breakfast, companionship by either accompanying her with a walk or sitting with her in her home.
The rate of pay is £11.00 per hour and includes paid annual leave.
Experience in Dementia is essential.
Exception under the Equality Act(2010)- the post is only open to females due to the personal assistance required.
