A Child Support Assistant is required for 4 hours per week (term-time) and 8 hours in School Holidays, to support a 7 year old autistic boy with his interests and hobbies.
The boy is non-verbal but can understand and has a AAC tablet device for communication. He lives on a farm so likes to be outside going to the park, on his bike or to go swimming.
The term-time hours are to be on a Saturday morning for the 4 hours, in the school holidays the hours are fairly flexible and can be on an ad-hoc basis, possibly on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday for the full day.
Th Support assistant must be patient, understanding and have experience with autism and have access to a car (due to rural location)
The rate of pay is £13.79 per hour
A Enhanced DBS is required for this position (paid by the local authority)
