A Relief Female Personal Care Assistant is required to cover holidays and sickness of other care staff, to help care for a lady with Down’s Syndrome.
The duties are to keep the lady safe, help with personal care, to prompt her to be independent , to take her out to various activities.
The lady has limited communication skills, requires prompting and has a hip condition so can only walk short distances, therefore, she is to be pushed in her wheelchair.
The rate of pay is £13.00 per hour and time and a half for bank holidays.
A DBS will be required for this position.
It is preferable that the applicant has own transport due to location.
Exception under the Equality Act(2010)- the post is only open to female due to the personal assistance required.
