A Personal Support Assistant is required to cover 19 hours per week over the 7 days to assist a visually impaired gentleman with cooking, household duties, medications and accompanying 1 day per week to go shopping etc.
There are 2 shifts per day including a morning call out (flexible times) and a tea-time call out usually 5.30 pm. On Fridays it will be all day to go shopping and possibly further afield for trips out, therefore the applicant must have a clean driving licence and access to a car. Sunday will only require the morning call.
The rate of pay is £13.00 per hour with time and a half for bank holidays.
