A Personal Support Assistant is required to cover a minimum of 30 hours per week to assist a visually impaired gentleman with cooking, household duties, medications and accompanying 1 day per week to go shopping etc.
This is initially a temporary position until April 2026 to cover sickness of PA (this may be subject to change depending on circumstances)
The hours are Monday to Saturday with 2 shifts per day including a morning call out (flexible times) and a tea-time call out usually 5.30 pm. On Fridays it will be all day to go shopping and possibly further afield for trips out, therefore the applicant must have a clean driving licence and access to a car.
The rate of pay is £15.65 per hour with time and a half for bank holidays.
A DBS is required for this position
