A Personal Assistant is required to support a young lady with additional needs on a 1-1 basis, for 30 hours per week.
The hours are flexible and are divided into 20 daytime hours and usually 1 x 10-hour sleepover per week. The hours are flexible and depend on the planned activity.
The young lady enjoys a healthy active lifestyle, music, walking, funfair rides, going on public transport to various fun filled and educational days out.
Are you that person? Do you like to get involved in planning activities? We are looking for a person that is fun to be with, enthusiastic, patient and have a jolly personality. Other attributes required are excellent communicating skills, being a team player, organised so that you can provide accurate records, help with diary planning and liaise with other team members.
Confidence with epilepsy would be an advantage, although training will be given.
The young lady has a car that the PA can drive, although she enjoys using public transport when she can.
The rate of pay is £ 11.54 per daytime hour and £87.20 per sleepover with 5.6 weeks (pro-rata) annual paid leave per year.
Previous PA experience is not necessary for this position however, a DBS and clean driving licence is required.
