Child Support Assistant/Companion
Two assistants/companions required to help care for 11 year old boy who has complex needs and a disability. He has significant developmental delay, is non verbal, is unable to walk, has epilepsy and is doubly incontinent.
10 hours per carer per week – eg, two x 4hrs and one x 2hrs, weekday mornings and every other Sat morning.
Applicants MUST be flexible and reliable. They must be excellent communicators and willing to think outside the box. Lots of singing nursery rhymes and songs involved; reading; sensory activities and outings.
Dog friendly. Being able to drive would be a bonus.
References and DBS check will be required.
The rate of pay is the enhanced rate of £13 per hour.
