A Male Support Worker is required for a 16 year old who is Autistic and has special educational needs for 7 hours per week, on a flexible basis with more hours during the holidays.
The young man is very active but has limited speech and will require occasional personal care and close supervision near roads.The role entails going to the youth club, after school club and holiday clubs and supporting the client to interact. There are also trips out and about bowling, to the cinema and swimming.
Experience with autism would be an advantage and you must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
The rate of pay is £8.67 per hour plus a mileage allowance.
Experience is essential and not desirable.
